Or

Have a treasure hunt

Make up five clues.

The first clue leads to the second and so on, clue five then leads to a small prize or treat.

Everyone gets a turn to hide and find.

Challenge Two – Board Games you can make at home

All you need for creating your own SNAKES & LADDERS game is:

1) paper

2) a pencil

3) scissors

4) a black pen

5) color pencils

6) markers

7) glue stick

8) a ruler

First measure any side of your squared paper using your ruler. Divide the side length by 10, since you want to draw 100 squares.

Using your ruler and your pencil, draw 9 vertical lines and 9 horizontal lines with equal spacing.  You will get 100 equal squares.

Use your black pen to number the squares. Remember that you should start from the bottom left corner of the paper.

Why not have a go!

Challenge Three – Try to make your own birdhouse from an empty milk carton

Parenting Tip – Importance of boundaries

Today we going to talk about boundaries. We want our children to be confident, independent and responsible. Having clear fair consisent boundaries will enable our children to do this.

Children will often test our boundaries and that is okay. We need to be firm but fair. Everyone in the family needs to agree on the boundaries and stick to them. Parents also need to be flexible as children grow. Boundaries keep everyone safe.
