Talk to a friend or relative or contact Women’s Aid. There are many Women’s Aid groups in Ireland and the UK. . We provide confidential support and information. You can talk to someone at our Support and Resource Centre, in your own home, or in a safe place in your community.
Our workers will help you look at your options for safety, accommodation, support through the legal system, and contact other organisations that can provide relevant support for your particular situation.
The 24 Hour Domestic & Sexual Violence Helpline provides a confidential telephone, email and text service. It is open to anyone affected by domestic violence regardless of gender, sexuality, disability, age or ethnicity.
The Helpline takes calls from those directly affected by domestic violence and also friends and families seeking to support those experiencing domestic violence. They also receive calls from voluntary and statutory agencies and provide an information service to help them meet the needs of those experiencing domestic violence.
